Latching Solenoid for Fire Protection Systems

TLX designed this component to replace pyrotechnic burst devices in fire suppression applications. The solenoid remains in the latched position until receiving a release signal. At this point, the solenoid drives a burst pin into a compressed gas cylinder, which releases pressure through internal ports. Strokes, latching force and port size can all be modified to fit the cylinder being burst.
