Large Latching Solenoid
Used a short pulse of current to actuate the armature and drew no current to maintain state.
The large latching solenoid came in three sizes, from 2.75” up to 4.25” in diameter, with high latching forces ranging from 445 N up to 1334 N. This solenoid was designed to use either residual magnetism or a permanent magnet to hold the armature in the latched position. Package size, stroke, and latching force were customizable to suit application requirements.
