Personal and Financial Information Collected by TLX
Throughout our websites there are forms that request information from you and/or allow you to purchase products and services. These forms typically ask for contact information (such as name, mailing address and email address), membership, login and password information, purchasing history, survey information, information needed to notify you about product warranties and recalls and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and verification code) required to process your order and ship products to you. TLX collects similar information when processing orders via telephone.
IP Address Logging
TLX's web servers collect domain names and/or IP addresses of users to measure what pages and features are accessed by our visitors. TLX uses analytics software or third party vendors to collect and analyze this information. This information helps us administer the site, improve content and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. TLX links IP addresses to personally identifiable information submitted to TLX. This information is used to verify whether a visitor has opted in to receiving additional information from TLX.
Use and Sharing of Customer Information
TLX respects the privacy of its customers and takes steps to prevent unauthorized disclosure of customer information to third parties. Customer information includes any and all information received by TLX from its customers by email through the TLX website. TLX uses customer information to provide services and support, send marketing materials, create customer accounts, personalize customer experience, fulfill product orders, improve customer service, monitor its website, and manage and protect its networks.
Retention of Customer Information
TLX will retain customer information as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. TLX will retain and use customer information as necessary to comply with its business requirements, legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect its assets, and enforce its agreements.
Processing of Data in the United States
TLX stores customer information on servers located in the United States. The United States is not recognized as having adequate safeguards. Residents and citizens of other countries and jurisdictions outside of the United States should note the transfer to and processing of personal information on servers located in the United States may not provide the same protection of such information as required under the laws of your resident or location.
TLX is under no obligation to monitor the conduct of its website users, but it may investigate and respond if violations are reported. TLX reserves the right to delete, remove or exclude any listing or information, in its sole discretion, that does not meet its guidelines for the services offered on the website.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy, and TLX's collection and use of customer information, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Sates and the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes arising out of this Policy shall be adjudicated in a court of competent jurisdiction in the Southeastern District of the State of Wisconsin.
We are committed to preventing others from unauthorized access to the personal information you provide to us, and we maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical procedures and technology designed for this purpose. This website has reasonable technical and organizational security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those security measures. Although we cannot guarantee that our systems are 100% secure 100% of the time, we periodically update and test our technology in order to improve the protection of customer information.
We suggest that you install anti-virus software on your computer and routinely check for viruses, keyloggers, spyware and other programs that may become installed on your computer without your permission. If you believe that you have received a virus from TLX, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may take remedial measures to remove the virus.
TLX does not send emails to customers requesting billing, login or password information. If you receive an email purporting to be from TLX that asks you to provide personal or account information, or login and passwords, do not provide such information unless you have first verified that the website or email is from TLX. Such emails may be fraudulent and used in connection with scams known as phishing. TLX asks that you report any suspicious emails or websites to TLX.
TLX does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If TLX learns we collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, TLX will promptly delete that information. Please contact TLX if you believe we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13.
Rights, Choice, Opt Out and Contact Information
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given us to process your personal information. You may request that we delete any personal information that we may have on file at any time by contacting TLX. You may request copies of, have TLX make changes, corrections to, or delete personal information in TLX's possession, or withdraw your consent by contacting TLX at firstname.lastname@example.org.
