Bistable Latching Solenoid
This light-duty solenoid uses only a short power pulse to actuate the armature and maintains position without constant power.
The bistable latching solenoid is designed for small spaces where heat generation and power consumption must be minimized. The present design must be mounted to a steel surface to complete the magnetic circuit, but the design can easily be modified to mount to other surfaces.
