Miniature Latching Solenoid

A circuit-board-mounted solenoid that drew no current to maintain state.

The miniature latching solenoid was designed to help calibrate an infrared camera system. A pulse of current of one polarity latched the armature, which rotated the flag to block the camera lens for calibration. A pulse of the opposite polarity released the armature and returned the flag to its home position. The rotating flag actuator was configurable to specific angle requirements.
