TLX Helps Fire Suppression System Manufacturers Meet NFPA 2001: Sec 4.3.4.1 Requirements
TLX’s linear electric actuator for fire suppression systems is a UL Recognized Component that meets the new NFPA 2001: Sec. 4.3.4.1 supervision requirement, which goes into effect January 1, 2016.
This rugged actuator features patented integrated supervision, which eliminates the need for an additional supervisory component and electrical connection. The actuator’s discharge valve interface is also customizable to match any system’s valve configuration.
Fire suppression system manufacturers that are looking to meet the January 1 deadline should contact TLX soon to allow time for design, FM testing, and production.
