Quality plays a key role in every aspect of our process from the initial design phase through post-production.
Assessing Customer Requirements: Our engineering team analyzes your desired specifications against design and manufacturing capabilities to assess manufacturability, usability, safety and quality so that we design the best solution for your application.
Designing Quality into the Product: Beginning with the initial project communication, TLX identifies any quality concerns so that they are addressed immediately in the design phase. TLX strives to thoroughly understand your application so that the most efficient and cost effective solution is designed for your application.
Testing: Extensive modeling and testing is completed to identify any quality issues so that they are addressed prior to production.
Sourcing Components: TLX ensures that the suppliers we use meet all of our quality requirements. These requirements include material and safety compliance, technical capability, financial strength and ability to meet deadlines. ISO certification required for most suppliers.
Production: Lean and one piece flow production when possible combined with in process and end of line testing. TLX also maintains lot code and/or serial number traceability depending on product.
Post-Production: Continuous improvement is practiced with both process and product design improvement. TLX involves our customers in this continuous improvement process.
