Miniature U-Frame Solenoid
Originally designed for an infared camera application, this miniature solenoid was used in a variety of ways to either block or filter the camera lens for callibration. The manufacturer’s specifications required that the solenoid be mounted to a PC board. Based on the specifications a miniature solenoid with a spring return was selected for the application.
For applications where size constraints are a concern, a miniature solenoid or valve is an excellent solution. Suitable for use in miniature relays, instrumentation, battery operated locks and medical equipment, the miniature solenoid and miniature valve can be designed as either a constant current or latching solution.
